LCS

It's got to be the Indians and the Rockies right? In related news, Fox has announced that it will be airing re-runs from last year's American Idol in place of the World Series.

I'm excited. Should be a couple of good series. The Indians are a fun team to watch, even if seeing Cabrera out there kills me (thanks Mr. Bavasi). They've got amazing pitching, and hey, they're different, which is always nice. I wish I could see Beckett v. Sabathia.

Rockies v. Diamondbacks- so they're expansion teams, no history, yada yada yada. Well, I guess this is kind of how you get history, by playing a few seasons, getting a committed fan base, making the play offs every once in a while. And since I clearly have a crush on the Rockies, let me just rave here a bit. Man, they do it in style. 13 out of 14, 1 game playoff, sweep of Philly. They are legitimately good team that seems like they may be around for a while, both this year, and the next few. Go Rockies.

These will both be entertaining series'. Wish I was watching live, but I'll be waking up early each morning to see what happened instead. If it ends up Sox-Diamondbacks, so it goes. But I'm hoping for some new blood.

Go Colorado

I believe it was just a couple of days ago that I said it was sad that Colorado had been so entertaining, and then they lost, and then they were out of it.

Boy was I wrong. And I gotta say, I'm pretty happy about it. Not only did I wiff on the fact they were eliminated, to prove me totally wrong they went out and won the tiebreak, and then took care of business today.

They are the closest team to Seattle, and I am an official 2007 Playoff Rockies bandwagon fan. Go Rocks! (or whatever they are affectionately called)
